A Marilyn Brooks design on a model arriving at her 1969 SOLD OUT O’Keefe Centre fashion‬ show in ‪#‎Toronto‬ (now known as Sony Centre for the Performing Arts). People came from everywhere! They had to turn away over 500! Tickets were $2 or $3 and after the show it was an open bar on the lower level. People drank and danced the night away. So much fun. People talked about this show for a long time after. How could they top that? They did, by taking their NEXT show to the Coliseum where 4500 people came and wore caftans. Brooks came out on a chariot and the rest was history!
